I'm a backend engineer and software architect with 17+ years of .NET, most of it building banking and fintech systems. I do my best work on problems where correctness, performance and data all matter at once.

How I can help

Backend engineering. Designing and building .NET services and APIs, from the data model to deployment: payment and transaction processing, public and partner-facing APIs, event-driven systems on Kafka and RabbitMQ, and the data access layer underneath.

Technical leadership. I’ve led a platform unit of 15 developers and a Banking-as-a-Service team, introduced CI/CD across teams, and mentored engineers - most recently in adopting AI coding agents.

Architecture. Service boundaries, data modelling and modernization. At Bank of Georgia I led the move of banking platforms to .NET 6 and a microservice architecture.

Databases and performance. Query plans, Entity Framework Core, PostgreSQL and SQL Server. I build the tools other .NET developers use to debug their database code.

AI-assisted development. I use Claude Code and Codex daily, and build the skills, hooks and project context that make them dependable: agent-generated changes held to the same formatting, testing and static-analysis gates as hand-written code, and agents connected to Jira, Linear and Sentry over MCP.
